Warranty Cases:
aquama provides the following free warranty services under the following conditions if a material or manufacturing defect arises on an aquama® product during the warranty period and the aquama® product is no longer fit for normal use as described in the corresponding user manual.
Warranty claims are excluded in the following cases:
• the malfunction results from improper use of the aquama® product, not conforming to the usual use described in the user guide,
• the malfunction is due to harmful environmental influences, especially when the aquama® product is used in an unsuitable environment according to the indications in the user manual, such as excessive moisture or heat,
• the malfunction is caused by incorrect use that does not conform to instructions described in the user guide,
• the malfunction is due to external intervention, especially repairs or the use of accessories not made with original aquama® parts,
• the malfunction results from an external event, such as an accident, insufficient packaging, lightning strike, overvoltage, or,
• the sticker bearing the aquama® product's serial number has been removed.
Warranty Period:
If the aquama® product is not used for professional purposes, the warranty period is two years for all aquama® products (regardless of the solutions produced or generated).
The warranty period for aquama® products intended for professional use (aquama® professional products) is according to the specifications in the corresponding user manual.
The warranty period begins with the purchase of the aquama® product from an authorized aquama® partner reseller. The sale date shown on the proof of purchase issued by the authorized partner reseller applies.
Services provided under warranty do not extend or restart the warranty period.
Warranty Services:
In the event of a warranty claim, aquama® will either repair the defect free of charge or replace the defective device with a functioning one, at its discretion and without further notice.
aquama® becomes the owner of any replaced devices and parts.
How to Exercise the Warranty:
To exercise the warranty, the aquama® product must be sent or delivered during the warranty period to aquama® or an authorized aquama® partner reseller, along with proof of purchase issued by aquama® or the partner.
In the case of shipping, the sender bears all transport risks. aquama® does not reimburse shipping, transport, travel, or labor costs.
Note:
For your own protection, we recommend that you carefully package the aquama® product and send it to the correct address. Please include the proof of purchase issued by aquama® or the partner reseller, along with a detailed description of the malfunction.
Warranty Rights:
The buyer’s statutory warranty rights arising from the sales contract with the seller remain unaffected and are not modified or restricted by this warranty.
Liability:
Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, aquama® limits its liability to the replacement of typical foreseeable damage resulting from the breach of essential contractual obligations, and damage resulting from harm to life, body, or health.
